Do you know a medical resident who is passionate about improving our health care system… and advocates for it? Nominate them for Doctors of BC’s annual Changemaker Award and give them the recognition they deserve.
The Changemaker Award honours one medical resident and one medical student who go out of their way to advocate for and work towards a stronger health care system through political or medical advocacy.
Each winner will be presented with $1,000 and an engraved plaque at the Awards Ceremony taking place during the Doctors of BC’s Annual General Meeting, June 2, 2018. Winners will also be featured in the BC Medical Journal and on the Doctors of BC website.
Each medical resident and medical student nominee must:
- Be enrolled in full-time studies during the year of nomination
- Be a Doctors of BC member in good standing
- Demonstrate outstanding personal advocacy for political or medical issues in BC
Does this sound like someone you know? Nominate them as a Changemaker!
Submit your nominations before April 6, 2018. Visit www.doctorsofbc.ca/changemaker for detailed information including nomination forms.
