Federal Election

The federal election is on Monday, October 19th. All eligible voters are entitled to three consecutive hours to vote. If your work hours do not provide you with three hours to vote, then your employer must allow you to either come in late, leave early or provide you with the time during the day to vote. Resident Doctors of BC has contacted candidates in a number of BC ridings to ask about their party’s position on Health Human Resource planning, an issue that is relevant to residents and early career physicians. Their responses are available here.


Upcoming Events

ICRE and Resident Leadership Summit
ICRE is occurring next week in Vancouver, with a special Leadership Summit for residents on October 23rd.
Resident Doctors of BC will be hosting a reception with Resident Doctors of Canada on the 23rd for attendees.

Block 3 Final Deadline
The final deadline for Block 3 call submissions is October 27th.
Please submit before then if you have not already for Block 3
