2018 Awards of Excellence Recipients
We are honoured to announce the recipients of the 2018 Awards of Excellence: Dr. Vincent Wong (PGY-2, Family Medicine) will be receiving the Award of Merit; Dr. Jasdeep Gill (Emergency & Family Medicine, Clinical Instructor) will be receiving the Dr. Patricia Clugston Memorial Award of Excellence in Teaching; and Dr. Navid Pooyan (PGY-2, Family Medicine) will be receiving the Residents’ Advocate Award. Drs. Wong, Gill and Pooyan will receive commemoration on a plaque at the Resident Doctors of BC office, a personal commemorative award, and a $1000 donation each to the charity/charities of their choice. Wellness Month…
…is in full swing! We have three great events lined up for the month of May, as well as our annual Happy Place contest. Come on out for the Pop-Up Roller Rink, the Day at the Vancouver Art Gallery, or join the waitlist for the Whitecaps game—and better yet, do all three and enter our annual Happy Place contest! UBC MAA Golf Tournament
Registration for the annual UBC Medical Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament is now open! Taking place at the beautiful University Golf Club on June 19, 2019, this event features a great day of golf, contests, dinner, prizes, and relaxation with fellow colleagues, classmates, and friends.
