Each year Resident Doctors of BC recognizes three people for their outstanding achievements in the areas of resident advocacy, leadership, and teaching. This year we are pleased to congratulate the following Award winners:

  • Award of Merit: Dr. Joshua Gurberg, Otolaryngology Resident
  • Award for Excellence in Teaching: Dr. Kevin Clark, Assistant Program Director, Emergency Medicine Kelowna
  • Residents’ Advocate Award: Dr. Peter Gee, Site Director, Family Medicine Strathcona

Get Your Taxes Done For Free

Resident Doctors of Victoria are invited to have their tax returns completed for free onMarch 23, 2017, from 11am to 6:30pm and attend a lunch and learn from 12-1pm about “How to keep more of what you earn as a Resident.” Click here for details.

The program is provided by the Financial Literacy Counsel and is built on best practices and services that were developed for both UBC Medicine in 2003 and Vancouver Coastal Health’s EFAP in 2011. These services are part of Resident Doctors of BC’s (RDBC)mission to promote the professional, personal, and financial well-being of residents. The Financial Literacy for Residents Program was launched in 2013 as part of your existing member benefits plan through RDBC and health benefits through VCH Employee and Financial Assistance Program (EFAP).
