Do you have a passion for advocacy or a desire to learn more about your union? Whether you are an R1 or an R7, we want you to apply! Nominations are being accepted until 12PMon Monday, July 23. The Resident Doctors of BC Board makes real changes in the hospitals, the province, and the lives of fellow doctors. For more info and the nomination form, click here. BCPSQC Quality Awards 2019
The BC Patient Safety & Quality Council are now accepting nominations for their 2019 Quality Awards. The awards celebrate projects within the four areas of care as well as four inspiring individuals, including patients and caregivers as well as health care practitioners. Closing date is July 15, 2018. More info.
R1s: A Place to Connect
Are you an R1 looking to connect with your fellow coworkers? A Resident-created and led Facebook group has been created as a place for UBC residents to connect to create sports, fine arts, socials, and other clubs.
R1s: Join the Society of General Practitioners Board
SGP is looking for an R1 Family Medicine Resident Rep to join its Board which meets 5 times/year in Vancouver, typically on a Sunday. You will also sit as an SGP delegate on the Doctors of BC Representative Assembly which meets 3 full days/year in Vancouver. Travel and expenses are covered, and an honourarium is provided.
