Ministry of Health & Resident Joint Task Force

To further strengthen our relationship with the Ministry of Health as a significant stakeholder to Resident Doctors of BC, we have established a formal Joint Task Force with the Ministry. This Task Force will meet quarterly and will be composed of representatives from the Ministry of Health and Resident Doctors of BC. The main topics to be discussed will be centered around health policy, strategic decision making, and human resource planning to ensure there is resident input in Ministry affairs. Read the Terms of Reference for this committee outlining further details and responsibilities.

We are seeking up to 4 resident representatives to sit on the Joint Task Force with experience and interest in health policy, health human resource planning, and government relations. If you are interested in sitting on this committee, please email us a letter of interest and your CV by January 11, 2017. The next meeting will tentatively be held in our association office on January 18th (AM).

We highly encourage involvement as this is a great way to provide our valuable input into the future of healthcare in our province.
