A Guide to the Collective Agreement: Chiefs & Program Admins
To assist the Program Chiefs and Program Administrators with understanding the ins and outs of the Collective Agreement, we have released a Program Chief Guide and a Program Administrator Guide. Both of these guides have ensured that the Collective Agreement pertaining to sections such as resident leave, scheduling, call stipends, and other important topics has been broken down using clarity of language and brevity. If you are a Program Chief, or know of a Program Administrator who would benefit from this, please send them to our website where you can find both guides at the top of the Collective Agreement page.

Physician Engagement: Parent Education on the Period of PURPLE Crying
The BC Injury Research and Prevention Unit requests your support in completing a short, 5-minute online survey. If you are a resident general practitioner, pediatrician, or obstetrician/gynecologist in BC, they would greatly appreciate your input to help them gain a better understanding of physicians’ perceptions of the Period of PURPLE Crying as it relates to abusive head trauma/shaken baby syndrome (AHT/SBS). They hope that you will help them further their efforts to decrease the incidence of AHT/SBS in our province. This is a quality improvement/quality assurance initiative with the goal of knowledge translation to physicians. Injury prevention is a provincial mandate and they thank you for helping them accomplish that goal through your participation in this survey. You can access the survey by clicking here. The survey will be open until September 30, 2019. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Kiran Mann (firstname.lastname@example.org). Thank you for your valuable input.
