Nanaimo Ultrasound Courses

The Nanaimo Regional General Hospital will be hosting several opportunities to obtain training and experience in point of care ultrasound this October:

October 12, 2016: The EDE Introductory Emergency Ultrasound Course.
October 13 and 14, 2016: Independent Practitioner Certification Scanning
October 15th: Internal Medicine / hospital medicine Introductory Ultrasound Course (through EDE 1 and EDE 2).
October 16th: Scanning sessions for internal medicine / hospital medicine

Training for Medical Assistance in Dying

In response to member requests for more information and resources on end-of-life care and medical assistance in dying, the CMA is pleased to announce the recent launch of two educational offerings: The online foundational module is available any time and free for CMA members. A face-to-face course is also being offered in Vancouver, September 15-17th (only four spots left!). These unique offerings are the first of their kind in Canada. For more information, please visit our website or contact education@cma.ca.
