For the second year in a row, UBC’s Transition into Practice Program will be offering the “Transition Tuesdays” seminar series. These monthly one-hour workshops, held the first Tuesday of every month, will cover a wide range of topics on everything from financial planning and investing to billing. Residents in all levels are welcome to attend.
View the seminar schedule here. The seminars are presented by industry experts as well as UBC educators. A good portion of time is allotted for Q&As. The workshops are offered in person and via videoconference. Seating is limited so register early.
Humans of Residency
Inspired by the Humans of New York project, three years ago we created Humans of Residency, with the aim of capturing the “human” behind the doctor. After two successful campaigns, we are doing another this year. On November 23rd we will be photographing our resident models at St. Paul’s Hospital. The photos will be used on our website, social media, and advertisements. Interested in being a model? Read the details here.
Block 4 Final Deadline
The final deadline to submit call shifts for Block 4 is Nov 24th. Please submit call shifts on time to ensure payment.
