CMA General Council
The CMA is selecting 10 residents from Western provinces/territories to join them at their General Council this fall. Selected applicants will receive funding assistance. Applications will be accepted March 11 – 31. http://ow.ly/Zac4t
JOSH Committee
We are looking for a resident volunteer interested in joining Royal Columbian Hospital’s Joint Occupational Safety & Health Committee (JOSH). The committee is developed by Worksafe BC and main duties are to identify situations that may be unhealthy or unsafe for workers and to consult with colleagues and employer on issues related to occupational health & safety.
This committee requires a commitment 1.5 hours per month, committee meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month at RCH. These meetings are scheduled between 1:30 and 3:00pm.

The Canadian Conference on Physician Leadership has 70 complementary spots for residents at their program May 13th in Toronto.
This 1-day conference has been customized for students and residents and is complimentary. You would join the larger group of practicing physicians for the opening keynote sessions in the morning and then break off into two workshops that have been customized specifically for residents.
