We are looking for a resident volunteer interested in joining Royal Columbian Hospital’s Joint Occupational Safety & Health Committee (JOSH). The committee is developed by Worksafe BC and main duties are to identify situations that may be unhealthy or unsafe for workers and to consult with colleagues and employer on issues related to occupational health & safety.
This committee requires a commitment 1.5 hours per month, committee meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month at RCH. These meetings are scheduled between 1:30 and 3:00pm.

The deadline to enter calls for Block 9 performed between February 15 and March 13 is March 28. Please enter all of your all shifts before the deadline to ensure payment.
We are still looking for a few volunteers to participate in Resident Library to speak with medical students about their program. The event is March 29th 6:30 – 8:30 at MSAC. Register here.
The Canadian Conference on Physician Leadership has 70 complementary spots for residents at their program May 13th in Toronto.
This 1-day conference has been customized for students and residents and is complimentary. You would join the larger group of practicing physicians for the opening keynote sessions in the morning and then break off into two workshops that have been customized specifically for residents.
