PRISM2 Survey: Professionalism of Residents on Social Media
Are you a user of social media? Do you have an account on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, or YouTube? A brief resident survey is being conducted to explore the attitudes and practices of BC resident doctors around professionalism in our social media use. You are invited to take the survey and to offer your optional contact information at the end of the questionnaire to participate in follow up focus group discussions that will be held this Fall. If you have any questions about the survey, please contact the lead resident of the study, Dr. Ben Huang, at Benjamin.email@example.com. The primary investigator for the study is Dr. Kendall Ho. Take the survey here. More information on the study can be found in the Members Only section.
Physician Engagement: Parent Education on the Period of PURPLE Crying
The BC Injury Research and Prevention Unit requests your support in completing a short, 5-minute online survey. If you are a resident general practitioner, pediatrician, or obstetrician/gynecologist in BC, they would greatly appreciate your input to help them gain a better understanding of physicians’ perceptions of the Period of PURPLE Crying as it relates to abusive head trauma/shaken baby syndrome (AHT/SBS). They hope that you will help them further their efforts to decrease the incidence of AHT/SBS in our province. This is a quality improvement/quality assurance initiative with the goal of knowledge translation to physicians. Injury prevention is a provincial mandate and they thank you for helping them accomplish that goal through your participation in this survey. You can access the survey by clicking here. The survey will be open until August 31st, 2019. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Kiran Mann (firstname.lastname@example.org). Thank you for your valuable input.
