Family Medicine Representative for RDoC

Resident Doctors of Canada is looking for a Family Medicine Representative for their Board of Directors. This is a position specifically for a member in Family Medicine.
Desired experience can include:

  • Governance skills (previously served with other organizations as a board member or executive member, such as Secretary, Vice President, Treasurer, Committee Chair, etc.)
  • Management skills (previous experience in policy, advocacy, medical education, professionalism, communications, wellbeing)
  • Previous RDoC representation as a liaison representative or a Committee / Working Group member
  • Specific skills in finance, legal issues, strategic planning, human resources, leadership, IT

The RDoC Board of Directors will meet face to face on these dates:
Board of Directors Meetings in August 29-30, 2015, November 28-29, 2015, and March 5-6, 2016 (all in Ottawa) and June 11-12, 2016 (Winnipeg).
Additionally there may be teleconferences and emails between meetings.

Block 13 Submission Deadline
The Block 13 submission deadline for on time payment is July 15th. Submissions will be accepted until 11:59 pm on July 30th.

Kelowna Site Visit and Social
Resident Doctors of BC will be in Kelowna on July 22nd. Join us from 3 to 5 for a half day presentation, then for dinner afterwards. More details to come.
