Residents who work Good Friday (April 6) are entitled to 2.5 times their normal rate and a day in lieu, those who work Easter Monday are entitled to 2 times their normal rate, and a day in lieu.

Pay Increases

The April 1, 2013 rates (Your current pay amount) will remain in effect until the first pay period after April 1, 2015. Wage rates will increase starting the following pay period after April 1, 2015. Meal allowances will also increase from $13.06 (for breakfast, lunch and dinner) to $13.20. The administration allowance for Chief Residents will also raise by 1% on April 1, 2015.

Royal College Deadline

The deadline for Spring 2016 Exam deadline for assessments has been changed to April 30, 2015. This includes surgical foundations.
For Fall 2016 examinations the deadline is August 31, 2015.
