Dr. Bolu Ogunyemi – Huffington Post
Dr. Ogunyemi is a freelance writer for the Huffington Post, in his article “How Should Canada Select New Medical Doctors?” explores various suggestions for admission criteria, such as meritocracy (excellence regardless of demographics), and Social Accountability (those likely to practice in areas of greatest need). He goes on to discuss measures to increase applicants from underserved areas, and increase exposure to underserved populations to those who have already begun their training.
