Call for Submissions: PULSE

We are looking for resident submissions for our upcoming November edition of the tri-annual magazine, the PULSE. If you’re a creative type, we’d love to hear from you! National Day of Mourning – September 19

Following Prime Minister Trudeau’s announcement declaring September 19, 2022 a National Day of Mourning in honour of Queen Elizabeth II, we can confirm that per the RDBC Collective Agreement, September 19, 2022 will be recognized as a paid holiday for our members. For the full release of what this means for our members, please see the email we sent out on Wednesday, September 14.

What I Wish I Knew – September

Our September theme for What I Wish I Knew, “Before My First Call Shift”, is currently ongoing. Send in your submission for a $5 Starbucks gift card and a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card at the end of the month!

Volunteer for Resident Spotlight

We are looking for residents to interview for our Resident Spotlight. If you’re interested in being featured or know someone who might may be interested, send an email to sasha@residentdoctorsbc.ca. All interviews are done over email with ample turn around time to account for busy resident schedules. We’d be happy to chat with you on a variety of topics, from residency experiences to hobbies and personal projects!
