
Resident Awareness Week: Medical Make-A-Thon
Hey Residents!
In preparation for Resident Awareness Week 2018, we have teamed up with Medical Makers and Science World to host a Medical Make-A-Thon on Saturday, February 3. The event will be taking place from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and all are welcome to participate. No experience necessary! Brings your friends and family and come hear Dr. Julielynn Wong, who is internationally recognized as a 3D printing and digital health pioneer who uses cutting-edge technology to deliver healthcare solutions in diverse environments, present on how this technology can assist both communities in remote and rural areas as well astronauts in space.

Medical Make-A-Thon participants learn how to 3D print life-saving or life-changing solutions for remote or rural settings. All participants will receive an e-certificate. The top designs will be 3D printed on 3D4MD’s humanitarian 3D printing system at the Mars Desert Research Station by a Medical Makers crew of analog Martian astronauts.
