Orientation Travelling Reimbursement Information

R1 Resident Orientation June 28 2023

For incoming Residents, reimbursement is available for those who attend the entire event in person only. Reimbursement will include some travel expenses, including mileage, accommodation and parking at the hotel.

Accommodations: We have a special group rate at the Inn at the Quay, reservations@innatthquay.com or call 604-520-1776 ext 7105.

Reimbursement will be limited to those using the group rate at the Inn at the Quay, or a lesser cost at another near-by hotel.

Accommodation Reimbursements are limited to one night, either June 27 (the night prior to the event) or June 28 after the event.

Parking: Parking will be reimbursed at a rate of $11.00 for the night.

Mileage will be reimbursed at a rate of $0.68 / KM, inclusive of the price of gas. A Google maps itinerary must be included with your reimbursement request. Reimbursement will not exceed the dollar amount of a return flight.

Travel expenses are limited to a maximum of $500 for new members travel into this event (ie: all travel expenses exclusive of accommodation).

Reimbursement Claims:

Receipts must be submitted with your expenses claim.

Room Reservations must be made and paid for individually.

Mileage receipts must be accompanied by a Google Maps itinerary and include all gas receipts

Only one resident will be reimbursed per receipt
