New Executive Director

Dear colleagues, staff, and friends of Resident Doctors of BC (RDBC),

After completing a thorough search and interview process, we are excited to announce Mr. Harry Gray as RDBC’s new Executive Director. The board has unanimously accepted the search committee’s recommendation and we are delighted to have Harry join RDBC as the new Executive Director starting February 20, 2017.

Harry brings an extensive and dynamic skillset, with more than 30 years of leadership experience in the public, educational, and healthcare sectors. Recently, he served Kwantlen Polytechnic University as their Associate Vice President, Administration and Vice President, Finance and Administration (pro tem). These executive portfolios saw Harry leading a team of more than 70 individuals across 3 divisions while developing and executing strategic plans. Harry also possesses a multitude of knowledge and experience in labor relations, negotiations, and human resources, having worked previously in various leadership roles for the Health Employers Association of BC, and Vancouver Coastal Health. With Harry’s unique dual perspectives in the healthcare and educational sector, he is a perfect fit to carry our organization to new heights.

We are confident that Harry will work hard to further the interests of our members, and work closely with resident doctors and stakeholders alike to ensure our association’s long term success.

Please join me in welcoming Harry Gray into the role of Executive Director of Resident Doctors of BC.

With excitement,

David Kim, MD
President
