Movember 2020 Results and Resident Voting: Now Open

Movember is now over, and thanks to the participation of our residents, we will be donating $275 to the Movember Foundation. This is our highest number of entries—at $5/resident—by far. A humongous thank you to all our residents who participated.

This year, we introduced a new prize: the program with the most representation would receive lunch on RDBC for one of their Academic Half Days. We are happy to announce not just one, but three programs that got together to celebrate Movember and show us their ‘staches:

• Emergency Medicine – Fraser Region
• Family Medicine – Surrey/South Fraser
• Urology

If you’re a resident in one of these programs, congratulations, and a big thank you for participating! You will be hearing either from us, or your program’s CoPR rep, on further details.

Now, with the coming of December, the second part of our annual contest is here: resident voting for best moustache. The winner(s) will have their pick of a $100 Amazon gift card, or, if they choose to support a local business during this time, a $100 gift card to a local business of their choice (e-gift card option and contactless delivery required).
