The Hematopathology residents recently got together to host a Plan Your Own Social. Here is what they had to say:
“The event was a big success! Well attended by all the lab medicine specialties. All the residents had fun and we had a chance to hangout with everyone outside of the work setting. We ordered paella for dinner, it was delicious and there were enough leftovers to provide lunch for everyone on Monday!
Pros: we set up various seating areas around the property and people can socialize in smaller groups. We also had lawn games set up for entertainment.
Cons: It was a HOT day. So we needed to buy a lot of ice to keep things cold.”
