Happiness in Isolation Contest

Thank you to all our residents and healthcare workers for continuing to work hard for the people of BC during this stressful and unprecedented time. As we all remain advised to remain inside our homes, or outside in nature practicing social distancing, we want to ask you:

What brings you happiness during isolation?

Following the tradition of our annual “What’s Your Happy Place?” contest, we want to bring to the month of April a new spin on it: the “What’s Your Happiness in Isolation?” contest.

Being in isolation inside our homes, or remaining a safe distance apart from our friends and family when we go out to exercise or take a break, can be difficult—but it doesn’t have to be devoid of things that make us happy. We want to know what brings you happiness during this time, and we want to give you a gift card to make the time pass by even better!

All entries will receive a $5 Amazon gift card. Every Friday (and Thursday, April 9 for the Easter long weekend), all current entrees will be randomly drawn for a chance to win a $50 Skip the Dishes gift card to enjoy on a treat yourself dinner.

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Send us a photo of what makes you happy with a blurb about where/who/when/what it is, and why it’s your happy place or brings you happiness. You can send the photo via e-mail to info@residentdoctorsbc.ca, or through Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram Private Messaging. If you send your photo outside of email, please be sure to include your full name and email address for us to send the gift card to!  Regardless of the amount of photos submitted, each submission will only count for one entry.
  2. Let us know whether we can post your entry to our Instagram.
  3. Wait and see if you win every Friday, and keep an eye out for your posted photo! Contest is open until the end of April.

We hope you all are remaining safe and well during this time. Don’t forget to take care of yourself, too—visit our Wellness Resources page for more info.
