Family Medicine – Abbotsford PYOS and PYOH Recap

The residents of Family Medicine – Abbotsford combined their Plan Your Own Holiday and Social funding this holiday season for a big social. Here is what they had to say:

“This event was initially planned as a “Wine and Cheese” social, but due to the limitations of Zoom socials became more of a “Dinner, drinks and hangout”. Dinner provided via Skip the Dishes, while wines, ciders and non-alcoholic beverages that sampled some of the local flavors from Taves and Mt.Lehman in Abbotsford. Above all, this was the first event at our site where all the R1s and R2s were present, albeit virtually (we had made previous attempts but they weren’t as well attended). This event gave us all an opportunity to check in about how the year was going under the current circumstances, allowed the R1s to ask some questions about the future (like where do I start with planning my electives) and we enjoyed a few online games. The fun would’ve gone on later but we thought we’d get some rest before work the next day. Thanks RDocs of BC for supporting us in preparation for this event!”
