Clinical Immunology and Allergy PYOH and PYOS Recap

The residents of Clinical Immunology and Allergy combined their Plan Your Own Holiday and Social funding this holiday season for a big social. Here is what they had to say:

“For our holiday party, we had a Christmas themed virtual murder mystery where everyone was assigned a holiday character with a script and one player was the murderer who had killed Scrooge. The game was purchased online beforehand. The entire game took about an hour an a half to play. It was a fun way to have a virtual event and remained engaged while trying to figure out who the murderer was. Playing the game virtually was difficult as at one point as we were supposed to go into smaller groups, but we were having issues with our zoom call that evening and we couldn’t create breakout rooms for some reason. Otherwise the game went fairly smoothly and we were able to do a google survey at then end to submit our accusations, which worked well.

We also provided food vouchers for all the residents and their plus ones so we could have a meal while we played. We ordered Skip the Dishes gift cards which worked well and could be redeemed easily. We also socialized before and after our murder mystery game which was enjoyable.”
