The Transition Tuesdays Seminar Series is a one-hour series of seminars on topics such as incorporation, billing, tax and financial planning, etc. designed to assist medical residents transitioning into private medical practice.  The seminars are presented by industry experts and a good portion of time is alloted for Q&As.  Scheduled every first Tuesday of the month from 6:00 – 7:00 PM with light supper served beginning at 5:30 PM.

The seminars are also accessed via video-conference rooms at various specific sites; please check with your respective program administrators for room numbers.

Seating is very limited so please register early.

Do I really need insurance?  If so, how much should I have?  A non-comissioned advisor from Doctors of BC will discuss personal insurance planning for residents, covering such topics as: Understanding your disability insurance; Planning for a growing family and/or growing debt, and Insurance considerations before entering practice.  Learn if you’re under- or over-insured, and plan for your future practice.
