Tax Clinic & Workshop – Victoria

At our tax clinic, you will have the opportunity to attend a workshop how to keep more of what you earn, enjoy food and refreshments, as well as have a 30 minute appointment with a chartered professional accountant to file your tax return. Please Note: Without your 2015 NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT, you will not be able to have your taxes filed. During online registration, you will also be given a checklist of other tax slips that you must bring to your appointment. Note: not all tax slips will be applicable to every individual.
Your spouse or partner can attend the Tax Clinic to file their taxes. They must also bring their 2015 Notice of Assessment and other required documents as well as register for a separate appointment prior or after yours.

Tax Clinic: CA 132 (11:00am – 12:00pm; 1:00pm – 6:30pm)
Workshop: CA 125 (12:00pm – 1:00pm)
Bobby Ning is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Financial Literacy Counsel Inc (FLC). For over 15 years, his practice as a Certified Financial Planner has focused on providing integrated wealth, tax and estate management solutions for Physicians and Business Leaders. Bobby continues to sharpen his skills and expertise through teaching and writing articles on topics related to investing, insurance planning, practice management and business succession for Physicians, incorporated professionals and business owners. Moreover as a 9 year qualifying member of the Million Dollar Roundtable, he serves on committees to train the next generation of Financial Counselors around the world to be servant leaders in the lives of the families and communities they serve. He is also a member of Advocis and the Financial Planning Standards Council.
Alphil Guilaran co-founded the Financial Literacy Counsel (FLC) in 1999 out of a passion and a commitment to build financially literate generations through teaching and financial counselling. He teaches financial literacy with a unique emphasis on helping Canadians get their financial houses in order, become retirement ready and train heirs and beneficiaries to be financially responsible.
FLC’s programs can be found in settings such as St George’s School, Vancouver Coastal Health EFAP, Canadian Sports Institute, Hockey Canada, CPA-BC, Resident Doctors of BC, SFU and UBC Medicine.
His team of financial counsellors collaborate with banking, accounting and legal professionals to provide holistic financial, tax, legal and philanthropic solutions for families, corporations and charitable organizations.
