5.01 — Termination for just cause is where the employer fires a resident for serious misconduct (i.e. theft, fraud, insubordination, patient endangerment). RDBC can grieve a termination if procedure is not followed.
5.03 — You must be enrolled in a residency program and be licensed by CPSBC to be employed. Do not let your licensing lapse (link)
5.04 — If UBC places you on leave, you will remain on payroll for 30 days, UBC will notify RDBC and HEABC and a meeting will occur to discuss your status within the 30 days.
