Residents who identify as indigenous have 5 additional days of leave that may be used participate in ceremonial, cultural, tradition, or spiritual practice that is significant to an Indigenous employee’s culture. Try to give 7 days’ notice of these leaves, understanding that use of this leave relating to compassionate leave are rarely planned.
