Adult Infectious Disease, Pediatric Infectious Disease, and Medical Microbiology PYOS Recap

Residents from three programs—Adult Infections Disease, Pediatric Infectious Disease, and Medical Microbiology—recently got together for a Plan Your Own Social, and here is what they had to say:

“Overall event went very well! We divided into two teams and completed two escape rooms. Pros included the ability to work together as a team solving puzzles, while also attempting to beat the other escape room team. Cons are that each room is limited to 5 or 6 residents, which may be hard for larger programs to facilitate. EXIT West Broadway was happy to open early to accommodate our event, which allowed us to do it during our dedicated half day time, rather than after work or on a weekend when people may not have been able to come. Appetizers after was a great chance to chat with our newest trainees and tell them about the program and the city in an informal environment.”
