New Anti-Racism Education Modules in Health Professions Education Modules
Hi everyone,
The PGME has just announced that the Anti-Racism in Health Professions Education modules are now live!
These modules were developed specifically for PGME Residents, Fellows and Faculty in collaboration with the Office of Respectful Environments, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (REDI) and the Office of Faculty Development to foster meaningful engagement with anti-racism principles in healthcare education. It is highly recommended that all Residents and Fellows complete these modules to grow in their capacity to address interpersonal and systemic racism in the learning environment.
The modules are interactive and self-paced, designed to foster self-reflection, increase awareness, and inspire action towards anti-racism. They feature real-life scenarios, expert video insights, learning activities and curated resources.
The modules will take approximately 2.5 hours to complete.
Currently, four modules are available. They can be accessed from here.
If you have any questions regarding the modules or any questions related to anti-racism, equity, diversity or inclusion, please reach out to the PGME AREDI team at pgme.aredi@ubc.ca.
